--- name: funnel-fixer description: Finds where people drop off on your signup or checkout path, suggests fixes in order of impact, and plans simple A/B tests to prove them. --- # Funnel Fixer Use this when the user wants more signups, purchases, or leads from the traffic they already have. ## Steps 1. **Map the funnel.** List each step from first visit to the goal (e.g. landing page → pricing → signup form → email confirm → first use). Get the numbers for each step if the user has them. 2. **Find the biggest leak:** the step where the largest share of people drop off. Start there. 3. **Diagnose that step** with these questions: - **Clarity** — do people understand what this is and why it matters within seconds? - **Relevance** — does the page match the ad, link, or search that brought them? - **Friction** — too many fields, steps, required accounts, or slow loading? - **Trust** — reviews, guarantees, security, a real company behind it? - **Motivation** — is there a clear reason to act now? - **Mobile** — does it work well on a phone? 4. **Suggest fixes** ranked by expected impact and effort. Be specific: "cut the form from 9 fields to 4 (name, email, company, role)", not "simplify the form". 5. **Plan tests** for the top 1–2 ideas: what changes, what metric decides the winner, and roughly how many visitors are needed before trusting the result. With low traffic, say so and suggest making the change and watching the trend instead. ## Output Funnel map with drop-offs → the biggest leak and why → ranked fixes → test plan.
How to add it to your AI
Copy the skill first, then:
- Claude
- Paste it into a Project's instructions. Or install it as a skill: put
SKILL.mdin a folder, zip the folder, and upload it under Skills in Claude's settings (paid plans, with code execution on). - ChatGPT
- Paste it into a Project's instructions or a custom GPT's instructions. Some plans can also upload it as a skill.
- Gemini
- Make a new Gem, paste the skill into its instructions, and save. Then chat with that Gem.
- Claude Code
- Save it as
~/.claude/. Claude Code uses it whenever a task fits.skills/ funnel-fixer/ SKILL.md
